Jo Wild will be facilitating a 2-day textile workshop at Junction 2010 in Launceston.
It’s called Hook a Jewel and is located at the Grand Chancellor Hotel in the beautiful boutique just inside the entrance.
Fifty participants will explore the latchet hook rug technique on a 6 inch x 6inch piece of turkey mesh canvas. Jo has stencilled a triangle on this material which is open to interpretation. As time will be limited during the Conference a triangle will give the option of knotting a smaller image while net working
Happy Hookers from Deloraine will be in attendance preparing brightly coloured wool lengths and showing participants how to make a knot with a latchet hook tool.

November: 5th – 7th Inaugural Encounter Bay Rug Camp will be held at Adare Conference Centre at Victor Harbor, South Australia. http://www.adarecentre.com.au/
