To bring together from around Australia those who would like to learn rug hooking, the solitary rug hooker, rug hooking teachers, fibre artists and rug hooking groups.
RUG HOOKING – in all its various forms has a long history around the world. The humble rag rug, once made out of necessity, in many places, is now transitioning from a craft to an art form .
There are different types of hooks and techniques available including traditional rug hooking, proddy(or proggy), punch needle hooking and locker hooking (not to be confused with latch hooking)
This site will be open to any of these forms of hooking.
